Summit Home Health & Hospice began in October 2005 with employees working in the home health industry for 12 years. In the beginning, Summit Home Health & Hospice observed that there should be a better way to integrate patient care with customer service. Summit Home Health & Hospice aims to treat everyone like a customer: patients, families and the medical professionals who refer patients. Today, Summit Home Health & Hospice has over 50 employees, including physical therapists, registered nurses and certified nursing assistants who provide home health care to seniors and other home-bound patients along the Wasatch Front. Summit Home Health & Hospice became Medicare and Medicaid certified in December 2005.
